What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Please see our Customer Register description here.

We collect data on our website to track the traffic (e.g. the amount of users, from which channels they came from, what content they visited and how long their sessions were). We use this data to improve our service and user experience, target marketing and to analyze our social media pages’ usage.

We collect personal information when you submit a web form on our website. We use this data to respond to your request according to the form’s subject. We may also use this data to promote our services and products. You may unsubscribe from our marketing communications at any time.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Analytics

The analytic tools we use are Google Analytics, Hotjar, HubSpot and Leadoo.

We use Google Analytics to track the traffic on our website. Read more about Google Analytics terms & conditions.

We use Hotjar in order to better understand our users’ needs and to optimize this service and experience. Hotjar is a technology service that helps us better understand our users experience (e.g. how much time they spend on which pages, which links they choose to click, what users do and don’t like, etc.) and this enables us to build and maintain our service with user feedback. Hotjar uses cookies and other technologies to collect data on our users’ behavior and their devices (in particular device’s IP address (captured and stored only in anonymized form), device screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser information, geographic location (country only), preferred language used to display our website). Hotjar stores this information in a pseudonymized user profile. Neither Hotjar nor we will ever use this information to identify individual users or to match it with further data on an individual user. For further details, please see Hotjar’s privacy policy by clicking on this link. You can opt-out to the creation of a user profile, Hotjar’s storing of data about your usage of our site and Hotjar’s use of tracking cookies on other websites by following this opt-out link.

We use HubSpot to track our website traffic. We also use Hubspot’s forms and CTA’s to provide newsletter subscriptions and different kind of web forms on our site. We use this data for marketing purposes (newsletters, targeted marketing) and customer service. HubSpot tracks visitors by using browser cookies. For further information, please see Hubspot’s privacy policy.

We use Leadoo‘s tracking service to follow what users are doing on the site and combine this behavioral data with other data we can gather from e.g. chat interactions. Leadoo uses etag tracking in order to hook together the same users behaviour over several sessions – in practice this works similarly to cookie based tracking. Please check out Leadoo Marketing Technologies Ltd’s Privacy Policy for more information on what is tracked and what your rights are. Leadoo works as the Processor and we work as the Controller for the data in terms of GDPR. You can stop the tracking by emptying your browser’s cache after the visit. For more on how Leadoo works as a GDPR compliant processor, see https://leadoo.com/privacy-policy-processor/

Who we share your data with

We share your personal data with our service providers (mentioned in the Analytics section) who perform functions and services on our behalf as data processors but are not authorised by us to use that data for any other purposes (e.g. providers of web hosting, customer relationship management and marketing).

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

You can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

How we protect your data

The information system where the information is being stored is protected with strong passwords and other appropriate measures are in place to ensure sufficient level of information security.
