PTCC process connection

K-type thermocouple sensor with protection tube and R½” process connection.

The protection tube has a 120 mm collar section, the purpose of which is to move the connection box outside the thermal insulation. Although thermal insulation is not always used at the site, we recommend the use of a sensor with a collar section, if a 2-wire transmitter is placed in the connection box and the target temperature exceeds 120 °C. Maximum temperature of the standard model is +800°C. Special elements available for higher temperature.

A mineral-insulated measuring insert is installed inside a protection tube, either with a coupling ring or mounting plate for the transmitter. Measuring insert diameter is 6 mm and it is interchangeable. Sensor lengths 100…510 mm, diameter Ø 10 mm, process connection R½”, material 1.5471.
