The most common wire sensor is the fiberglass-insulated K-thermocouple wire, in which the wires  at one end of the wire are twisted together or welded. In short-term measurements, twisting together is sufficient, but a welded joint is recommended for long-term use. Temperature range -60…400 °C.

The wires are also available as Teflon coated, max. temperature 260 °C. With ceramic fabric insulation, they can endure a continuous temperature of 1,375 °C and for a short time up to 1,550 °C. We only supply special wires according to the offer.
