Nokeval’s ownership structure changes – Hans Ahlström joins to accelerate growth in the ODM business

Nokeval Oy’s ownership structure is changing following a series of share transactions. Jani Vähäsöyrinki and Hans Ahlström have acquired all shares held by the minority shareholders who participated as sellers in the transactions. As a result, Ahlström becomes a new shareholder in Nokeval and one of the company’s largest owners. Following the transactions, Jani Vähäsöyrinki and Lari Maasalo will continue as shareholders, with Hans Ahlström joining them as a new shareholder.

The new ownership structure strengthens Nokeval’s ability to execute its strategy and develop the company for the long term. Nokeval is pursuing growth particularly in its ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) business, where the company designs and manufactures customized hardware and software solutions tailored to its customers’ needs. Nokeval serves as a technology partner throughout the entire product lifecycle, from design and product development to manufacturing and lifecycle services.

Hans Ahlström brings experience in growing ODM businesses

Ahlström has more than 15 years of experience in the electronics industry. He also has approximately 10 years of experience in the ODM business as the owner and CEO of his own electronics company. His experience supports Nokeval’s ambition to grow its business particularly through long-term ODM customer relationships. In addition to becoming a shareholder, Ahlström serves as Nokeval’s Chief Business Officer.

Growth through long-term customer partnerships

Nokeval’s ODM business has grown strongly in recent years and is profitable. The company is seeking growth through partnerships where it can combine its product development expertise, in-house manufacturing, and comprehensive lifecycle services to meet customer needs.

Nokeval has 45 years of experience in measurement technology and co-development with customers. Product development and manufacturing in Finland, combined with calibration, maintenance, and lifecycle services, enable long-lasting solutions whose reliability can be maintained for decades. Many of Nokeval’s customer relationships have continued for as long as 30 years.
