Nokeval visited Intertek’s EMC testing laboratory in the United States
Intertek is one of the largest providers of Total Quality Assurance (TQA) services in the world. It offers ATIC solutions (Assurance, Testing, Inspection, Certification) to industrial clients. ATIC encompasses a wide range of technical quality assurance, testing, inspection, and certification services that help industries develop better and more sustainable business practices. Intertek employs over 40,000 professionals across more than 100 countries.
Hannu Saarinen, Chairman of the Board at Nokeval, visited Intertek’s Boxborough facility in the United States, where the company has concentrated its expertise and resources for EMC testing.
EMC testing ensures that the electronic device being tested does not interfere with the operation of other electronic devices. EMC approvals are critical for Nokeval’s wireless measurement devices. For this reason, Nokeval also has its own EMC laboratory, where the EMC compatibility of their wireless measurement devices under development can be pre-verified.
In Nokeval’s own EMC laboratory, the EMC compatibility of IoT measurement devices under development is ensured.

Michael Murphy is a second-generation Finnish American. His parents spoke Finnish at home, though Michael has never visited Finland. Hannu Saarinen invited Michael and his colleagues to visit Nokeval for a collaborative meeting.
